No.  Our testing is double blinded. 

When the final participating panelist has completed the study, payment will be processed for all panelists. 

All panelists will be compensated by check via standard mail.

The information we ask you is absolutely confidential. It will only be used to determine which testing opportunities will benefit most from your consumer perspective, and which tests you are most likely to qualify for. Information we gather when you participate in a study is provided blindly to the manufacturer whose products you are testing (no personally identifying information is included). There is no marketing or solicitation associated with our studies.

Please note that if you miss your appointment without giving us notification, you may not be allowed to participate in our future studies. 

Yes, they must be at least 4 years and be able to stay in the waiting area. We do not have child care available. Children can not go in to the salon/test area. Only the person signed up for the study is allowed in the test area.

1. Forwarding Emails-We ask that under no circumstances are you allowed to share your email or link to sign up for our studies. That link is meant for only you, and if you share any emails or links you will be permanently disqualified from all studies. All links are confidential. If you know someone that wants to sign up, have them go to hairtestcenter.com. Or, if there is an issue, call the salon at 475-268-0426.   

2. Rescheduling- Before selecting a day/time, please make sure to check your own schedule and verify you can make it to the time slot that you are selecting. We may not be able
to reschedule your appointment. If you can't make it for the time you selected, your appointment will be completely cancelled. Our studies are time sensitive, and we can no longer make accommodations and reschedule appointments.

3. Study time frame-When signing up for our studies and selecting a time, you are committing to the allotted time frame for the appointment. Unless we state otherwise, you must be available for the full-time frame of your scheduled appointment. 

4. Our studies are voluntary-All studies for the Hair Test Center are voluntary and can be cancelled/ rescheduled by us at any time with out payment. If you do not participate, you will not be paid. 

5. Late appointment policy- Moving forward, if you arrive 10 minutes late to your appointment, we will not be able to take you and you will not be paid. If you are going to be late to your appointment, please call us at 475-268-0426 or email us at salon@hairtestcenter.com to notify us before your scheduled time.

6. No Shows-You must notify us if you will not be able to make your appointment. After two no shows without a notification to the hair test center prior to your scheduled appointment, you will no longer be eligible to participate in studies.

7. Cell phones-There will be no cellphone usuage past the waiting room. If you use your cellphone anwhere else in the Salon you will be disqualified from the study without payment. 

8. Appointment confirmations-Appointment confirmations will be sent out as soon as the recruitment for the study completes. It may take up to 24 hours. Please take not of the day and time you chose.

9. Panelist drying room-Due to limited capacity in the drying room. We ask that you exit the drying room or relocate to the waiting room upon fully completing your survey. If you are here with another panelist, you can not stay in the drying room with them if you completed your survey and no discussing results/opinion with any other panelists within the facility. 

10. Payment- You will receive payment with in 2 weeks of the study ending. A study you participate in may not finish on the day you participate; it may take a few days to complete. When you do receive your check, be the study number will be listed in the center of the check, please keep a note of this for your own records.

11. Study follow-up- When it is required, completing the salon follow-up is an essential part of the study. If you do not complete this part of the study, we will not be able to use any of your data and you will not be compensated. 

12. If you are sick or unwell, we ask that you cancel your appointment and do not come in to the testing center.
